The Permaculture Network knowledge base
Last updated 21.08.2026
This knowledge base was established in 2024 in order to keep up with the growing European Permaculture Network.
Here we host:
- Website helps
- Foundations → Code of Conduct, Digital Permaculture, Values, Governance Principles, Terms of Use
- Policies
- Processes
- Meeting Logs
The governance documentation of the Permaculture Network is based on a simple principle:
Authority follows responsibility.
This means decision-making authority belongs to the people who are actively carrying responsibility for the work concerned.
You can explore this most directly through:
- Governance Principles
- Advisory Team
- Decision making
- Conflict Resolution
- Onboarding
- Participation, Inactivity and Leaving
- Projects and Stewardship Areas
- Network Circle
- Legal Responsibilities
- Resources, Funding and Financial Responsibility
- Transparency and Documentation
Getting started
Feel free to brows through the different documents.
If you want to contribute and discuss statements, policies, documentations, etc. you first need to register with the Permaculture Network: Register with the EuPN
Once your account is active you can log into our forum and go to the documentation section within the forum.
Access to the live documents - where you can actually edit the documents - is only given to members who have been through a review process and participated in an onboarding / tutorial call.
Onboarding supports participation and contribution, but decision-making authority in the network develops through actual responsibility in projects and areas of work.
