  • Build composting toilets before
  • 400 - 600 € budget
  • Organised by 2 people

European Permaculture Gathering 2026​

Open discussion about a possible European Gathering in 2026

  • Gathering instead of Convergence - the term convergence comes with expectations
  • Limited to 200 participants
  • End of August / beginning of September
  • Ideal if the place has insurance or local group that organise workshops sponsors insurance
  • Ideal if there is a local group -> volunteers, Erasmus / Solidarity Corps
  • 3 days minimum - +2 before and after
  • Emphasis on self organising as in Mind.org.uk (PDF)
  • Family friendly: no drugs, no alcohol, no pets, no smoking -> has to be checked with the venue.
  • Idea to make 50% of tickets available for international guests.
